Discovery Session:
We’ll get together so I can discover what you do, and who you do it for. I’ll listen and understand your business, your ideal customers, and your ideas.
Concept Designs:
The logos and brands I create are unique to your business. And there are 2 rounds of amends to make sure we get it just right.
On-time Delivery:
Custom designs take time. I allow 3-4 weeks for delivery of the first concepts.
Style Guide:
It’s most important we have a document that you can send to marketers to make sure your brand is represented correctly across all channels, right down to the font and colours.
All Formats:
You’ll need your logo and brand assets ready for print and digital use. I’ll set your logo up in the correct format for all the places you need to use it.
Here’s how it works
My design process takes you from a blank canvas to branding that’s a perfect fit.
Typically, a brand identity design takes 3-4 weeks. If you need any collateral marketing materials, add an extra 1-4 weeks.
Chat.
We’ll start with a chat either over Zoom or in person, so I can get a clear understanding of what you do and who you do it for. We’ll work out your brand’s personality with some quick and fun exercises to draw out what’s unique about your business.
Proposal.
After our chat, I’ll send a proposal for your design package that includes terms and conditions and timeframes. A 50% payment is required to start the work.
Ideas.
I’ll look at your current branding (if you have any) and your competitor’s branding to see where we can make you stand out. I’ll put together 1-2 mood boards with images so we can narrow down a design style.
Design.
After we choose the best direction for your brand’s identity, I’ll start working on the concepts and place them in sample layouts so you can see your complete brand. I’ll send the first versions within 3 weeks.
Refine.
You’ll get to make suggestions and give feedback (two design revisions allowed for). And because we’ve done all the groundwork, the proposed designs should be on target. You’ll then choose your new brand identity.
Style Guide.
Lastly, I’ll put together your brand style guide. It contains all the elements for your brand identity: logo, typography, colour palette, any icons and graphic elements, your style of images and example layouts. This will keep you on-brand so you and your suppliers know how to keep it consistent.

The fine print
Prior to starting your brand identity deign, you’ll be sent a Proposal that outlines inclusions, timelines and milestones, confirmation of fees, and Terms and Conditions.
You need to sign and return the service agreement and payment schedule, and make the initial payment before any work starts.
